I finished the Pimlico Shrug last week.

I am so happy with it!  The front is very flattering for any body type.  It’s comfortable and wonderful to wear on a chilly day even though mine is a little over sized.  I used pattern size medium/large, but maybe should have used small/medium instead.  The colorway used was Grey (Bramble Heather) by Knit Picks.  100% Peruvian Highland Wool.  The pattern is from the knit 2 together book by Tracey Ullman and Mel Clark.

We are planning to sail the bay tomorrow with John being the captain of a Hobie Cat sail boat.  The Hobie cat is suppose to be a stable boat meaning it wont tip over easily.  I won’t be able to  knit on the boat though (sorry), but it takes both of us to sail it.  One to control the sail in front and one for the back sail.
