A little Something About Me

I’m a knitter who loves to crochet, and machine embroider.  I am married to a wonderful and patient man, we have two wonderful grown sons, a beautiful daughter in law and two young granddaughters.  My ETSY Shop: etsy.com/shop/trimitup (currently closed) I first started my blog after moving to the San Diego area from Sacramento, where we lived for twenty years. I had to leave my part time job and my life as I knew it, to doing nothing, while my husband started his brand new job.  That is when I started this knitting, etc. blog in 2011, and then later got my real estate license.

  1. Hi. I’m a new blogger here too. Didn’t know this knitting crochet week thing was happening, but how nice for so many to be sharing in it. I’m also a big time lover of chocolate!!! 🙂

    • Thank you for the comment and good luck with your blog, it is kinda fun!

  2. I appreciate your crochet directions, so easy to read and understand! In crochet directions, less is NOT more.

I love the look of back-loop crochet, the texture and spring in the finished fabric. I started a scarf project this summer, making scarves for everyone in my family. I can’t stop! Now, everyone gets two. Some of them are scrumbled, rather off-beat, as Prudence Mapstone is one of my favorite crochet mentors.

Good luck with your blog. I blog, too, and really enjoy it.

    • I am so glad you enjoyed the crochet pattern. Good luck with your blog as well : )

  3. Hello, You are a god send, I love to be creative and knitting has been right up there. but so true when you said there are so little good advise for left handed knitters. Thank you so very much. Blessings to you and yours Gale
