Bead issues…

When the weather gets cold outside that means I need to do some knitting on a large project like an afghan or something like it so it can drape over my legs to keep me warm.  unfortunately I don’t have a project like that at the moment.

Instead I have been working slowly on a wrap and have come to a stand still because I ran out of seed beads. The pattern I am working on did not specify how many beads I needed to get the job done and I thought there were more than enough to finish the wrap.  It’s a problem because the beads I used came from an old necklace I had lying around and had not worn in a long time.  Need I say more!  I need more of that same bead. Oh Crap!!!    So do I pull it all out, or finish knitting without the rest of the beads and hope no one notices , or try to find the same beads or something like it somewhere.

My only real hope is that the South Sun Beads near my home will have that bead.  This store is a huge warehouse of beads and jewelry findings.   If they don’t have the bead or something similar than I’m not sure what I going to do.  I will let you know what happens because I’m going to the bead store next week.

Happy knitting!
