Day 18 – Penguin
There are a lot of people who collect penguins, and with good reason….they are so cute!
This little guy is a very whimsical cutie. He’s wearing a red and green stripped scarf and a long blue stocking hat with white trim.

Day 17….Trout
My husband likes to fish, especially fly fishing. I love to go with him. I always bring a good book to read and love to listen to the chirping birds and the rustling leaves in the gentle winds. To me there is nothing more relaxing than that.
We rode our bicycles to the lakes around the corner from our house last Saturday. The lakes offer paddle boats, fishing, a sprayground for the kids and much more. It was quite relaxing as well.

Day 16 {31 Days) of Cup Cozies – Cookies
October is National Cookie Month, so what better way to celebrate your love of cookies than to use a cup cozy on your coffee cup or glass of milk……well and some cookies of your choice! I never need an excuse to eat a cookie…..do you? My husband is the biggest cookie monster ever, so I don’t usually have them around too often. (Bad for the waist line.)

Day 15 – Coffee
Before my husband and I moved I use to knit with friends at a coffee-house weekly. Then we started making cozies for our coffee/tea cups so we would not waste paper sleeves, got a lot of attention with those and we were being green too!
Who doesn’t love a nice hot cup of coffee or a nice icy blended coffee? And what goes better with your coffee than a beautiful coffee cozy? I have just the one for you!
This embroidered cozy is made up of stitched coffee beans and spells coffee. This particular cozy is one of my most popular cozies on Etsy.
I really think coffee helps me knit faster…..ha ha!

Day 14, 31 Days od Cup Cozies – Snowflakes
Snow flakes are beautiful when they fall, and it is said that no two snowflakes are a like…..just like people! Yes, there are twins and so forth but all are different in some way.
That is about as profound as I am going to get today, ha ha!
